CloudRemix is a prototypical cockpit, or command and control centre, for managing digital and physical assets in personal cloud computing environments. With CloudRemix, it is possible to combine, for instance, own datasets offered as a service with software delivered as a service through a marketplace and devices represented as services from friends in a social network. All assets and services can be provided, consumed and varied depending on their nature.

The best way to experience CloudRemix is through its integration into the π-Box. Nevertheless, it also runs without much installation effort in a stand-alone mode, only a PHP-capable web server and SQlite bindings are required. Both fictional scenario data and real data sources can be integrated through the testdata_* scripts shipping with it.
